i have a number of horror novels out that just love to be read! i know i don't get in this discussion as often as i'd like....but i'm always writing something!

I have been in the group watching and I will tell everyone that my book which is sort of a horror book has just gone on sale at Amazon for a ridiculous price with free download to kindle. It is entitled No Lullaby for Tommy. I'm sorry to promote my book here but the price is incredible. Google it or see its facebook page. I am again sorry to promote my book in this way.

it's ok charles you can promote your book here. authors like yourself use the introduction topic, to introduce themselves and say "hey i'm an author come read my book". but we prefer this to be introductions only. but if your after shameless self promotion(that's what i like to call it). follow the link to find our Authors work area.

New to the group! This is an ancient post I see, but it's funny you mention this because I just had a discussion with some other readers about PNR that leans more on the erotic side, about how much "blushing" material they prefer, and I got all sorts of responses.

I'm like you--I love PNR and UF, and am trying to broaden my horizons. However, PNR with more drawn out sexual tension and less explicit erotica is more my thing, and I think it's more exciting in a lot of cases. Erotica is sexy and exciting, but it's whole different ball game for sure! I guess I like the old-fashioned stuff with a lot of edge.

OMG So much has Happened since that post.I'm Now one of the Moderators of the group. I think(ok i hope) i have stopped blushing at someof the erotica that i read. we have specific genre discussions that you might want to sneak a peek in. and don't worry about joining any conversation, we love new people. I mainly stay with the PNR, UF, Fantasy, and sci Fi now(and all sorts of erotica).

Hi, I'm new to the group (and goodreads) as well. I work by day as a civil engineer for a water utilty, and have also just published my first book about Human Vampires in New Orleans.

I love to read all sorts of genres, but have a soft spot for vampires: my neck, inner thigh...

I do like erotic sex, but I can't say that I'm that much into erotica. Too much sex and I get bored (sounds like an oxymoron doesn't it?). I'm actually worried the current book I'm working on has too much sex. Hmm, well, I'll find out with the first proof.

I am very very very new around here. Just the fact that I found this thread, is quite amazing. LOL

Anyway, I am a SAHM with two young children. Loves to read. Have been reading as long as I can remember. Then I became a mum and had to put it aside for a while. But now I am back. And at the moment I am very much into vampire books. Don't know who to blame for that. I just love them so much that I have started to write my own script. Don't know what to do with it yet. Time will tell.

Anyway, thank you for letting me in and please have some patient with me as I try to learn how to get around on this board.

Hey Nikki, welcome to the group. That's cool the Twilight saga sparked your interest to read more. I've come across others who had the same thing happen after reading it, too. And now you can't stop reading PNR, right? LOL It's a great genre. If only I had more time, I'd read a lot more of it. This group will give you a lot of great book recommendations.
