It's sad but true: I accepted an invite to this group at least a week ago but am just now getting my brain together enough to say hello.

Hello!

I'm Heidi Cullinan. You can click my name to get the official promo blurby stuff, but the friendly version is that I love to read and write fantasy. I like contemporary and historical works too, and the former certainly pays the bills, but I love, love, love a good fantasy. I especially like fantasy with a bit of romance (though not necessarily traditional romance), and I also really, really dig lgbt fantasy.

Favorite fantasy author is, hands down, Terry Pratchett. Also love Neil Gaiman and Lois McMaster Bujold, though I prefer Bujold's space opera stuff to her fantasy.

Love Buffy, Angel, and True Blood, though the latter is often too gross for me. Loving the current season so far.

Good to be here. I have put "social media" into my schedule which means surfing Goodreads has just become "working," which I hope works because I miss hanging out in here. Hope I see you around.

I know I introduced myself before, somewhere in this group! LOL But,I am a 'distracted ditsy author'.:} I don't write vamps but...I do write creatures and supernatural hunks that would melt your insides while you read. I write erotic paranormal fantasy, suspense and romance.
I'm not here to 'pimp' my books though. I'm here because I LOVE books, period.
I would like to thank Adele for creating such a lovely place for readers and authors alike.

Hi! I wish I could spend all day on Goodreads, but I'm pretty busy lately with college prep stuff, and, when I'm not doing that, I'm reading! I love a variety of books, especially sci-fi,but lately I've been reading classics. I'm still trying to figure out Goodreads so if I don't repond to invites for groups, I apologize, and hopefully I'll get the hang of this website soon.

I'm also an author. If anyone wants to help me out by reading and writing a goodreads' review of my book, Bloodwood: the Chronicles of Max Mayhem, I'd greatly appreciate it (really!). In the story, best friends Max and Lydia travel to the cold, dark north in search of a missing girl and hidden vampire town.

Hi Nicola, What's the name of your book? Can we get it in the State's yet?

we are reading it at the moment. if you go to Nicola's Author Page (her profile) you can find it.
She also Writes under the name of Riley steel. so if you go to the groups homepage, click on the book Red's robin, you can get to the book. but if you click on the author name you will get to the profile of Riley Steel.
oh and i'm in australia. we usually get things after they are availible in the states. so i'm pretty confident it's availible in the states.
If you visit her vamptasy website you can get it from there, it's also availible on smashwords.

Right now I am looking forward to J. R. Wards new book in the Fallen Angel series coming out soon this fall. It will be number 3.

as for vampire reads you should check out the book of the month... it's not relesed yet, but we are holding a event for its release(basically a mini read a thon).

I set up and area ages ago for promotion of blogs(and to help those starting blogs), it is in the members work area, i set it up when i was attempting to set up my own blog, which 8 months later i still haven't gotten around to doing! i write things down first rather than do things electronic right off the bat (old habits). Anyway if you would like to have your promotion there, you can also check out the other blogs there too.

HI I'm Trish and love to read just about anything anymore lol I'm a big fan of series reading like the last one I just caught up on was Caris Roane(ascension and burning skies) this was an awsome set cant wait for next one. I love to cook and garden also so I'm pretty busy most of the time but always find time to read...I have a daughter and husband that are with me in WV LOL not sure what else to put so I'll let it go......

I only read series books these days.
for me it's my way of avoiding the dreaded state of not knowing what to read next!
however sometimes i find a standalone book that i enjoy. not very often but you do find them.

this group covers one of my fav kind of books.. adele i would love to find some other groups that lean towards my other favs.. im currently unemployed right now so 2 books a day is pretty easy.. specially once i get in a rhythm..

Welcome to the group meagan, i know what that is like (being unemployed and reading lots of books), majority of last year i was unemployed. and at the end of this month i will be unemployed again!

we have a couple of reccomendation areas for books, websites, and yes even groups, you should check it out!(in the favourites folder).

it depends on what you want. some people love roleplay and join those types of groups. some groups go by genre or book series(some are even by location). when i join a group i look at how many friends are in it. the group description and rules.

I seem to have missed reply somehow! sorry, yeah its only in its begginning stages we are still working on charecter profiling and basic plot so know where close to promotional business yet!, however i will bear it all in mind (and i probably will be PM'ing you at some point in the furture! watch this space lol!)..
