oh and as for reccomendations, you will find them in the books folder, but there are others in other folders too(such as the genres folder)... my suggestion is to have a bit of a wander around and have a look at what we have to offer.

I had the pleasure of spending some time there while in the U.S. NAVY in the 50's on our way home from Korea, the people were nice to all of us Navy guys. Hi, I'm Jessica and I'm new to this group. I'm a devoted reader and writer. I love the Paranormal genre, vampires especially. Whenever I see the word vampire I jump and see what it is. I have written a vampire novel that I am trying to published. Right now, it has gone back to the editing stage, but I will restart the search for an agent as soon as it is ready.

It's great to meet another Laurell k hamilton fan. and yes i know that feeling you get when you tell people you like the paranormal, they just don't understand. Here on goodreads(and in the group) it's so friendly and you find lots of people who recognise a genre for what it is not what it contains.

Hello Everyone! My name is Deborah Noel and I am the author of Tangled Blood Lines published by Vamptasy Publishing. This is my debut novel about vampires, crime scene investigation and murder. I added some werewolves, witches and half-breeds into the mix to spice things up. I live in Pennsylvania with my husband and jack russell. I'm just learning (very slowly) how to navigate around goodreads and any help would be appreciated. I used to read a lot until I started writing. I don't want to be influenced by others while I'm working on my novels. Once I get some promoting and marketing down, I will get back to work on the sequel to Tangled Blood Lines, so any word of mouth and recommendations you guys can help me with will get me back to the drawing board...I mean keyboard!!!
