Hi all, I'm Linzi, I just joined the site today although where I'm going to find the time to fit it in, I dont know. Something else will have to give, FB maybe? I'm a big horror/paranormal/vampire book fan - Anne Rice is a fave, Charlaine Harris and Stephenie Meyer too and am currently getting into JR Ward although I read most of her stuff with a furious blush on my face :-)

called help around goodreads. in it you will find info in regards to not only goodreads navigation and tips and trick but group stuff too! :o)
it might be worth your time to check it out. and if there is something you think should be added or if you have a suggestions/question. the very first message in that topic contains a link to the questions and suggestions topic. where you can post your query/sugeestion etc.

Hi everyone! I'm Alma and I'm the author of The Taker (Random House UK). While it's not a vampire book, it has the same dark, sweeping romantic feel, and has been compared to early Anne Rice (Mayfair Witches, Interview with the Vampire). It's the first in a trilogy.

The paperback edition pubbed today, and I'm vert excited. I hope you're tempted enough to give it a try. It came out in the big paperback edition in April and got lots of rave reviews in the UK ("spookily captivating" from Marie Claire).

Hi, im Rose, im still in School, but i LOVE Fantasy and Supernatural Books!!!!
I'm in the middle of reading 10 different 'Books' right now, and 13 different 'E-books' and about 52 manga's.
I like to keep my goodreads account 'manga-free' and 'books' only as well, so i don't add any of my manga.
It'd also take me forever to add all the mangas ive read because i've read a over 240 different manga series, and each of those mangas has roughly 10 different volumes.
I'm one of those readers who starts one book, finds another, starts that one, finds another, continue, but i always find the time to finish the boks ive started.
I also love working with computers, html, ect.
Reading, and computer tech, are basically my main 2 interests

I understand! I used to be obbessed with twilight, but just LIKE the books now, but practically all my books are still about paranormal romance, and practically all of my friends don't like paranormal book. I like this group cos they're are so many others who like the same genres as you.

I have always enjoyed the strange and wonderful, and although sometimes I wonder off in a different direction occassionally (I try to read as widely as I can) I always find myself eventually coming back to the comfort of a good fantasy, thriller or sci-fi.
I don't always get time to come on here (life sometimes gets in the way) but would be happy to chat with anyone interested about books and interests.

Kathy, who doesn't love sexy vampires! Lol I have never written a book, but I have short stories(hand written) around....I just have to get around to making them official! So your not alone with wanting to write a novel. We have a few people in the group that have publishing companies, and some that do copy editing( I think its called) . So if you want to chat to them to see how to get started I'm sure they can give you some advice. Post up a topic if you are interested, but as you said time is a factor so of course if you have the time.

Serena, I love series reads too! I try to cater for all genres here in this group, but I do tend to have more paranormal books. We have a Book of the Month.
