I love vampire movies almost as much as I love most of the books... Im a YA junky.
Most recently I read The Immortal Instruments series by Cassandra Claire (great books!) and I REALLY loved The Host too. Im excited to get to read some more in this group too. Thanks ya'll.

Hello, my name is Colleen. I absolutely love to read. I have read all the Twilight series books many times and i love the movies as well and can NOT WAIT UNTIL November for the last one to come out. I have read most of Anne Rice's books and love them as well. I am currently reading "A Devil's Queen" which is about Catherine de Medici.

Hi, I am Melissa. I am a single mom of 2 boys ages 9 and 6. I read as much as they allow me to! I love supernatural books. Any good recommendations, would be appreciated. My boys are acquiring my book addiction and both read above their grade levels. Happy to meet people who share my love of reading! Some of my favorite books are The Vampire Diaries, House of the Night, Secret Cirle, Hunger Games, Twilight, Blue Bloods, Mortal Instruments and Wicked Lovely.

i hated reading all my life, but when my cousin convince me to read Twilight,from day one i read it i loved it could not take my eyes of it, ;)and now am so addicted to all Twilight series ,i read them 4 times untill now :)
from that moment tell now i love reading a lot :D

Wow Rula, that is great. I have heard people say that the harry potter series was their start to reading, but not twilight. I'm not surprised though.
I hope you find heaps of books here that interest you. So you continue reading for many years to come.

If you have not read "The House of Night" series, i would highly recommend it. The books are by P.C. & Kristen Cast and they do a beautiful job of making their different writing styles blend seamlessly.

I agree! I love the House of the Night books. It has a really great story line and not the typical predicable storyline. The twists and turns make you wish the next book was already out!

I have not read Charlene Harris' books but I absolutely completely loved The Vampire Diaries series! The books are completely different than the show. The only similarities are the names of the characters!

morganville series is a good read, sookie stackhouse novels,gena showalter has a couple good series too. anita blake novels by laurell hamilton one of my favourites. i love to read and there are too many books to mention thats why i love this site with the reccomendations.

hey all im marie and im addicted to books (there are worse things to be addicted to though :-) ). i am looking for new reads and i love anything paranormal or fantasy, i usually read series and not stand alone books i like to get to know the characters and follow there lives which stand alone books dont give me. any suggestions welcome thanx .

i know that feeling lol got about 300 books in my to read pile good job i read fast get through about 5 books a week :-). if your looking for something now i highly highly reccommend sherrilyn kenyon darkhunter series starts with fantasy lover.

I love The Vampire Diaries and The House of the Night series'. They are both great reads!

Hi guys! From what I've read from the new members of this group, the trigger was the twilight saga. Guess what? It definitely caught my attention 'til the very end. So I have been reading Fantasy and Vampire books. Like from Kelley Armstrong, Richelle Mead and J.R. Ward. Terrific writers, I must say. Thanks for havin' me here!

Hi, I'm Author Lani Rhea. I have a couple books published with my BFF, Jp Archer. We also write separately. This year alone I should have seven books published if all goes as planned. I'll have three VAMPIRE stories. heh Rising Currents': Louisiana Moon will be published with Lyrical Press in Oct. I can't wait!! Another vamp short story will publish with Evernight Publishing in a Halloween anthology. In the next few months I should have another short vampire story with Renaissance E Books. I love vampires!!! I remember at the tender age of six pretending to be one. LOL

I've always been an avid reader and have always loved vampires and werewolves and other paranormal tales but didn't really discover paranormal romance as a genre till I read Darkest Night by Gena Showalter the year before last. Since then I've read all the LOTU, IAD and BDB. I've also started writing my own paranormal romance/erotica and paranormal horror and have had a few things published. Looking forward to chatting SJ

Marie, if you click on a book link it will take you to the book page and you can add books from there. But if it is on the. Group bookshelf you can add it from there too. However if you are willing to search for the book. There is a search bar on the very top of the screen( if you scroll up) it is next to the goodreads logo. Type the name of the author and you can find books written by that author.

No problems Marie, I'm here to help! There is a help around goodreads topic I started some time ago, I have tried to keep it as mini tutorial section.
There is also a questions and suggestions area the first message in that area contains the link to it.
If you can think of anything else I could do a mini tutorial on. Just let me know there.

Hi, I'm Michelle. I have been reading book series since I was quite young. My first was Little House of the Prairie, which my parents gave me for Christmas one year. After that I went on to Sweet Valley and as I got older I started to develop a darker taste. Christopher Pike was next. I can't recall a lot of reading through the teen years but as an adult I picked it up again, with Harry Potter. After that I had two small kids and no time to read so I didn't until a friend sent me Twilight. The rest is history.

Since I discovered how much I missed reading, I have found countless amazing authors, books and series. To date I have rated over 850 books here on Goodreads and am in the process of making reviews for all. I also started a blog just because I had so many friends asking me about what I read and what should they read that I just figured it was easier this way. So other than reading and blogging. I am a mom of two. My daughter is an avid reader, like me. My son however is ONLY interested in sports, mainly baseball. My husband isn't a reader either but lately I have been getting him interested and he has as of the past few months actually read two books. O_o And MY next project is to attempt to put to paper a story I have in my head. So I tend to go MIA from Goodreads for a few days at a time while I try to make progress.

Phew, I think that is all. I can't wait to get to know the rest of you and continue to grow my TBR Pile.
