Hi, I'm G Bernard Ray, novelist. I have one thriller in print on Amazon and a few other sites. My second novel that I hope will ready for print soon is a vampire story. Hi, I'm Lexie and I love reading all types of urban fantasy books. Charlaine Harris is awesome, so is the Kate Daniels series (Magic Bites) I love the banter between Kate and Curran! I also am into the Elemental Assassin Series right now (it's really well written), Chicagoland Vampires, and the Allie Beckstrom Series. I just finished Day Soldiers, and it was great!

Hi all, my name is Candice. I have been an avid reader since like the second grade. I remember reading Harry Potter and Twilight before they were big and now I'm addicted to both. I adore paranormal novels but I also truly enjoy mystery and romance. I have met two of my all time favorite authors, Nora Roberts (could she be considered two authors?) and Charlaine Harris. I live in south central PA, and when I'm not reading I'm knitting or crocheting. I look forward to joining in on the monthly book chats.

I'm Nicole, i live near Glasgow Scotland. I love to read many different genres but horror, sci fi and vampire fiction are my go to's.
All time favourite Vampire fiction has to be the early gothic classic Varney the Vampire. Outstanding! I really enjoy reading Anne Rice's novels and have read one and a bit of the sookie stackhouse stories, avid True Blood fan.

Hi, My name is Rachael and I am new to goodreads. I'm just finding my passion for reading. I used to read here and there but have recently found that I enjoy it much more than I thought. I really like fantasy books the most. To me the best story is one that transports you into another world and allows you to escape reality and live amongnst the characters. I have read the "typical's" thus far such as the twilight series and the hunger games (which I LOVED both). I would like to get started in some other books that aren't necessarily so mainstream but I'm not sure what some good ones are. If it's not well written I'll lose interest fairly quickly.

Rachel you are not alone! Many people are in the same boat. I myself love getting as far from reality as possible.
Melissa I'm not sure if people have read it but why don't you recommend it to some people in the Genres area of the group.
Either way we have many ways to reduce or add to your TBR pile. So jump right in and don't be afraid to join in on any conversation. We have a no biting rule so nobody will bite....I nibble though.
