Could we add some thing along these lines to the Google doc with the other standard texts. I end up composing some thing different every time I go through Trivia

Thank you for adding trivia questions for other users to enjoy. Goodreads policy is to include a link to the book and/or author when adding questions. Please can you review your questions and add the book / author links.

This can be done by clicking the Trivia link under you avatar and then selecting the questions added link. Select the trivia question with no links and then the edit link at the bottom of the question. You can use the Add Author / Book link either in the question or answer boxes.

Questions that do not have Book / Author links added will be removed from the trivia section.

I don't think that's accurate -- or should be! -- unless the question doesn't provide enough information. Yes, we want to encourage such links. No, I don't agree that any lacking them ought to be deleted. For starters, there are some legitimate questions in the quiz that are not about a specific book or books. They're about writing styles, or genres, or such.

This requirement would also give away the correct answer for some questions such as those requesting the book from which a first line comes or those relating to specific book/author relationships.

Not if the book were linked in the section that only appears after the question is answered.
