Comanche series - Catherine Anderson

Summary: I'm not sure about the overall summary of the series, but book 1 focuses on the tenuous relationship between a Comanche warrior and a white woman during the times when the Comanche and whites were at war with each other.

1. Comanche Moon
2. Comanche Heart
3. Indigo Blue
4. Comanche Magic

Yikes, I popped around a few sites to see how much books 2-4 cost used...well, yikes pretty much sums it up! Most of them are over $100! I guess I'll be waiting for the reissues.

Wendy The re-release of Comanche Heart is now available. I got mine today at Wal-mart for $5.97. Yippeeeeeeeee! I've been looking for an old copy for about a year, now I can finally read it.

:)

I have to pick up a copy for my keeper shelf since the one I read I borrowed from someone last year.

I already have 3 & 4, but just curious, does the end of CH have a date for when the next book will be coming out?

Kathrynn Yup, spring 2010. But that probably means summer and what a bummer wait that will be. :-(

I really don't understand the long delays in re-releasing these books. It's pretty much pure scheming on the part of the publisher, in my opinion.

I'm glad I already found copies and read them. Waiting would drive me nuts (sorry, guys!).

Kathrynn I agree. It's a re-release for crying out loud. Hate waiting for books to come out like this. After a year, (and a few books in there ta boot!) I tend to forget parts that connect a series good.

Easier, just to let them accumulate and read them all in a group. 8-#

Wendy I, of coarse, couldn't find any old copy's. So I will have to wait until 2010 for the next one. :(

The book was excellent. Thought I thought that Swift should have spoken more as though he was still an Indian. I love the way Hunter speaks in the book, and who could really learn to speak English that well as their second language. There is still an accent for most people after many years of learning a new language.

Kathrynn Wendy, I thought that, too. Swift spoke too well. Loved how Hunter spoke. Most of his sentences ended with a question. Know what I mean, eh? Or My heart is on the ground... Swift spoke like a college grad, imo.

:-)

Right now you'd probably have a really hard time finding copies of 3 & 4. With the re-release just coming out, everyone is going to want to find copies of the next books. It took me a while to find them cheap enough to afford. I was checking eBay and Amazon used books like twice a day.
