Katherine | 187 comments Barbara. Love tana French. Have read all of her books as soon as they have been published. The fact that she is irish and was published first in Ireland (if I am correct) we got them well before everyone else, before she became majorly popular. Really happy that she is doing so well internationally. There are some really good crime writers coming out of Ireland in recent years.

Kay | 18 comments Tana French is great. I have a hold on the next available copy of the Likeness at the local library.

Just finished Gone Tomorrow by Lee Child. Vivid imagery and Lee Child at his best....

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it had quite a bit of action and an interesting story.

Oh! Loved Rebecca and never saw the movies. However, apparently there's a new one in the works. Some big name directing/producing but I'm at a loss for name at the moment. I had an argument that lasted HOURS with a friend about the name of the narrator... the second Mrs. de Winter. The first name. I totally won that argument, my friend ended up re-reading Rebecca. So really it was a win all around.

Vince Santarelli | 3 comments Currently reading Michael Connelly's "Harry Bosch" series. Have already finished "The Black Echo," "The Black Ice," and "The Concrete Blonde." Currently reading "The Last Coyote." I have enjoyed all, so far. Connelly writes so well.

Hello Renee. Oh heck! Now I'll have to read Rebecca all over again unless you can put me out of my misery. Am I right in thinking that the second Mrs de Winter's first name is never revealed?

message 9864: by Bill (new)

Bill I'm currently reading The Fry Chronicles and Precious Blood. It's a bit of slow going at the moment. I'm enjoying both, but we're staying in a hotel for the weekend and spending most of our day watching Curling championships, so Ive been a bit pre occupied. I think my reading time over the next few months might be somewhat restricted too as we're picking up our new miniature schnauzer puppy, Bonnie, on Tuesday and I think she'll take up a bit of our time.. Then hopefully a male (Clyde) in Jun or so.. Very exciting.. :0)

Every Bonnie needs a Clyde, Bill. Congratulations on your new addition. Perhaps if you find just the right genre those pups would settle right in and cozy up for a good read. Perhaps something noir for Bonnie and Clyde, but for mini-schnauzers? I'm not sure.... Oh! Perhaps a little Nick and Nora--and Asta, of course.

message 9869: by Kim (new)

Kim (catmommie) Last night finished While the Savage Sleeps, one of the travelers. I gave it five stars, very good suspense, murder and mayhem plot with a paranormal twist.

Since my pc crashed, I've been working off my phone and my Nook tablet, which aren't the best media for internet. So, this is what I read during that time:

3rd Degree: 4 stars
Body Double: 4 stars
Murphy's Law: 4 stars

I tried to read and listen to The Paris Wife and didn't care for it.

I think you will love Play Dead (Andy Carpenter Series, #6) by David Rosenfelt . The Andy Carpenter series is one of my favorites. Good mysteries with humor.
