Just finished Gone Tomorrow by Lee Child. Vivid imagery and Lee Child at his best....

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it had quite a bit of action and an interesting story.

Oh! Loved Rebecca and never saw the movies. However, apparently there's a new one in the works. Some big name directing/producing but I'm at a loss for name at the moment. I had an argument that lasted HOURS with a friend about the name of the narrator... the second Mrs. de Winter. The first name. I totally won that argument, my friend ended up re-reading Rebecca. So really it was a win all around.

Hello Renee. Oh heck! Now I'll have to read Rebecca all over again unless you can put me out of my misery. Am I right in thinking that the second Mrs de Winter's first name is never revealed?
Charles Beddingfield.

Charles, she's never named. She's just the second Mrs. DeWinter. Rebecca was the first.

Nominated for an Edgar Award this year, and so far really good.

Every Bonnie needs a Clyde, Bill. Congratulations on your new addition. Perhaps if you find just the right genre those pups would settle right in and cozy up for a good read. Perhaps something noir for Bonnie and Clyde, but for mini-schnauzers? I'm not sure.... Oh! Perhaps a little Nick and Nora--and Asta, of course.

Since my pc crashed, I've been working off my phone and my Nook tablet, which aren't the best media for internet. So, this is what I read during that time:
3rd Degree: 4 stars
Body Double: 4 stars
Murphy's Law: 4 stars
I tried to read and listen to The Paris Wife and didn't care for it.

Hello Lori. Many thanks to you and Jan C. Now I can sleep easy again. Still might re-read Rebecca though. I often like to re-read a book and find I get more out of it second time around.

watching curling, eh? does that make you Canadian?

I just read Gun Machine by Warren Ellis last night in one sitting. Great book.

Mark: Keep on reading the Harry Bosch series. You can't go wrong.

The second mrs de winter was never given a first name because daphne du maurier felt she couldn't come up with the correct name for her. So loved reading the book. Going to watch the movie at the weekend.

Renee, didn't hear of a new movie in the works. Hope they don't mess it up. Can't beat Hitchcock

Brilliant read jim. Also what a fantastic insight into Stalinist Russia. I keep telling my siblings you can learn a lot of history from fiction as well as non fiction
