Hi Erin, Welcome to the group. We read all sorts of mysteries and your TBR list will just grow and grow.
Hi Erin, nice to have you with us. I'm a cozy reader myself... too much of a wimp for anything too gruesome!

Do you read either Peter Robinson or Louise Penny? The are both Canadian authors. Penny writes a series set in Canada, while Robinson writes an excellent series set in Britain. (Robinson was actually born in Britain and emigrated to Canada. His protagonist is Chief Inspector Alan Banks.) I had a chance to see the two of them appearing together at the Poisoned Pen bookstore in Scottsdale, AZ, a few months ago--a very nice evening.

While very certainly *not* a cozy I did enjoy The Calling by Inger Ash Wolfe. It was a real page turner as a serial killer works his way across Canada.
It is supposed to be written by a "famous" Canadian author who did not want to admit they wrote a mystery. There is a second in the series but I haven't read that one yet.
