I'm hoping to get my hands on this one next month. Funds this month haven't allowed many purchases, unfortunately. I've read a couple of Shelley Bradley novels, that I really liked, so I'm looking forward to this one. Has anyone read it yet?
I have read about half and it is decent so far. Drags a little in the beginning, but is picking up now.

I have seem some of that so far, also. Was actually hoping to get to the meat of the story in the second half.

I love the mythos in this book of magical families with incredible life spans who live amongst humans. I thought the battle between the factions of magickind interesting and will enjoy watching the social evolution between the Privileged and the Deprived in future books in this series. Unfortunately both the hero and heroine were flawed to the point of being annoying rather than sympathetic characters with whom readers could identify. Marrok of Cadbury was stubborn, arrogant, and in the first half of the book, quite the jerk. Olivia Gray was far too whiney, constantly lamenting about being unlovable. The first half of the book dragged, but I found that the second half moved along nicely. From the excerpt in the back of this book it would appear that in the second book in the series, Seduce Me in Shadow, both Bram Rion and Caden MacTavish find their mates. Bram was wonderfully heroic as the leader of the Doomsday Brethren, and Caden, a find warrior and caring brother. That book has the potential to have all the elements come together to create a great story. I liked the story in Tempt Me with Darkness; it was the issues with the hero and heroine that mostly contributed to me giving this book four stars.
Great review, Kathleen! I hope to get my hands on this one soon - funds have been a little tight for me to order books. And at least I know that I can push through the first half of the book, LOL and get to the second half!
