Me too Joyce, me too! But I am finally getting better about it and will actually give up if I don't really care for the first 1 or 2 books ;)

Good luck with your new business venture! I am looking forward to reading The Lineup: The World's Greatest Crime Writers Tell the Inside Story of Their Greatest Detectives soon too.

Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet 4/5 - This was very well done, and I especially liked how it popped back and forth between modern time and the war years.
Untamed 3/5 - Not sure why I keep reading these, except that they are mindless and entertaining, and I have a thing about finishing a series once I start it!
Shiver 4/5
A Reliable Wife 2/5 I was disappointed in this one; I had heard lots of good things about it and I thought it was just OK.
House Rules 4/5 - I also thought this was a little predictable, especially how it turned out. I saw that coming from the very beginning.
The Lineup: The World's Greatest Crime Writers Tell the Inside Story of Their Greatest Detectives 3/5 - I found the stories by the authors I read very interesting, especially when they talked about how they came up with the characters. There were quite a few authors that I don't read and couldn't get too interested in.
