Jamie (jaymers8413) I was just wondering if anyone had any questions about anything in the Harry Potter books? Then people can give their opinion or answers. An example would be a question I had and looked up:

Question: What did Dumbledore see in the Mirror of Erised?

Answer: Dumbledore sees is his entire family alive and well and happy together again.

Abi Lou | 184 comments I think so... He seemed pretty clever when he was plotting with Grindelwald or whatever his name is. When his family broke apart, though, I think he sort of turned to his books and plans... I don't know. Good question. I was going to ask if Voldy has to blow his nose, and if he does, how does he do it?

Jamie (jaymers8413) Haha!

Does anyone find the difference between the amount of magic taught and the skill level of the students to seem like nothing compared to what the older witches and wizards can do. I know with age and practice came power but it seams like they have so much more to learn. Sometimes in the books you just want to be like...How did Harry get out of that situation?...really! Oh well I still love the books!!!

Jamie (jaymers8413) Ok, kind of random but I found this passage in the book Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier published in 1938 and thought of Harry Potter:

"If only there could be an invention that bottled up a memory, like scent. And it never faded, and it never got stale. And then, when one wanted it, the bottle could be uncorked, and it would be like living the moment all over again."

I wonder if J.K. Rowling has read this book?
