Hi! I'm trying to add some links to an author bio and the listed link formatting, ie. the URL in brackets, doesn't seem to work correctly. I finally just added the raw URLs into the text which looks awful, but does work--so long as you *don't* click on the "more" to open the pop-up window containing the full bio. One you open the full bio, the links stop working correctly.

I also tried putting the links into html, but that didn't work. Is there any way to fix the wonky formatting?

HTML format works for me.

Can you send a link to which author profile it was, or post which url wasn't formatting right? You should be able to use either the brackets or an name.

I've shortened the text down to the visible window because the long links, though messy, work fine so long as you don't click on the "more" at the end.

I've gone back now and inserted html code around the first link in the bio so you can see what it looks like. It doesn't turn the text into a link, as it normally would where html is enabled. But I'd love to include some text links, so any advice about this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The html on that author profile looks fine - I don't see any links that are malformed...

Hmmm. So why doesn't the text itself become a link, as the html instructs it to do?

Hi, I'm having a problem with adding the url's (for exerpts) to a book with the text showing instead of the actual url. HELP!

You're talking about in the URL field, right?

It's displaying properly for me, and the link worked perfectly.

What browser are you using?

I'm using firefox - previously I was able to list the url and the text as a link so viewers would be able to click on the word Excerpt and go to the page.
