PattyMacDotComma TASMANIA - what a story!
I just finished Aussie author: Saroo Brierley's memoir, now a new film called LION, A Long Way Home.

A Long Way Home by Saroo Brierley Lion (Movie tie-in edition) by Saroo Brierley

A five-year old Indian boy's memory beats ours, for sure, and it's not just the fresh Tasmanian air of his adopted country that did it.

Same here...heard mixed reviews, so I figure I better read it to find out for myself.

I added this book to my February BOTM club box...I won't get around to reading it for a couple months, but glad to hear you enjoyed it!

PattyMacDotComma I've just read Aussie author Sarah Ridout's debut novel, a mystery of sorts, Le Chateau.

I think she will attract plenty of romance readers, but it wasn't for me. (This novel, I mean, not romance!)

PattyMacDotComma A Gentleman in Moscow is a new favourite. I don't know how Amor Towles manages to create such a full, busy world confined within a Russian hotel after the Russian revolution.

PattyMacDotComma South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula was the location for this "domestic suspense" novel by Aussie author Dianne Maguire, Things We Cannot See. 3★

Important subject about teens and sexual predators written by a former social worker.
