Three Word Story is a game in which a story is built three words at a time.

Each participant continues the story, but may use only three words each turn. You may finish the sentence and/or start a new one if you like.

A negative contraction (don't, can't) is considered one word. All others (she's, I'd) are two words.

Here's an example:

A tall man...
... walked through a
... door but it
... was very painful.
... He had bonked
... his nose on

and so on and so forth!

Let's see how creative we all are!

Summary of story, posts 1-50:

The dead body was cold to my hesitant touch, but I remained silent and could barely contain my horror at what lay before me. I was sure it could not be who I was thinking about, but it was my identical twin.

Shocked at what I just saw, from the corner of my eye I perceived another quivering figure who cried out to me, "Look out! You should duck!" The crashing sound made my heart leap out of fright. For a very large, hairy woman stood leering near the open grave, wielding two very large cats poised to spring. Her face was dark with blood from my twin.

"My name is Dekker. Henry Dekker... I mean Henrietta!... depends what day. I've come to understand the meaning [of] the curse of bad hair days. Huff... I would like to visit the keeper of all hair care, bloody and incriminating."
