I was JUST at the bookstore and there was a book that I ran across, but didn't have any money to buy, so I said to myself..."remember the name of that book so you can add it to your to-read shelf on GoodReads tonight". And of course, I forgot the name of it.
This is what I know...
It's by a UK publisher...I'm going to guess that it wasn't published in the US or Canada because the ONLY price on it was UK $.
The front I'm pretty sure was just a picture of a girl.
Maybe on the front or the inside flap it said "who deserves to live forever"
I quickly skimmed the inside flap to see what it was about and what I gleaned from that is that the subject of the book is a boy named Daniel/David (?) is the 52nd (?) generation clone of the original Daniel/David.
Can anyone help? I don't live near the bookstore, otherwise I would go and find it again, but I won't be back to the city until next weekend! Help?
Ahh, sorry...I decided it would be easier to just CALL the bookstore and tell her where I found it and have her find it for me. It's "Possibility Of An Island" by Michel Houellebecq.
