Sarah | 13814 comments Just curious. I always start out with the best of intentions to do them really really early, but usually get them done end of March.
I do kinda miss the pre-e-file days, when my friends and I would get together on April 14th or 15th and do our taxes at the same time and all cheer each other on, and then rush to the post office.

Félix (habitseven) Turbo Tax rocks. I've been using it for __ years.

Mary (madamefifi) My husband owns his own business so he has an accountant who did ours in January. I've already banked my pitifully small refund.

smetchie | 4034 comments Done. We send ours out and it's so worth it. I used to hate doing them.

Jen (jeninseattle) Turbo Tax. But we owe this year, so you hang on to it until the very last minute. Don't want the gov't (wait, I am the gov't) to have it any longer than they have ot.

Cosmic Sher (sherart) | 2234 comments Just got back from the postoffice. Very exciting. :|
There was this young woman there with her boyfriend, gingerly sliding it into the envelope slot, poking it to make sure it went all the way in, even pearing into the slot to make double sure. Then she turns to her boyfriend and says worriedly, "Is that it?"

I think she was expecting a band of monkeys to come roaring out of a hidden trapdoor and throw confetti over her. Yea, it's pretty much the same as mailing a letter, twit.

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments My wife has all these weird technical financial connections to her family, since her father died, so she does our taxes through Turbo Tax but they get kind of complicated. But online seems way easier than paper.

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments yeah sher, no band of monkeys for me either. i had to pay state some. if i have to pay i wait til the very last minute to give them their sweaty money

Jen (jeninseattle) I'm so glad that I'm not alone in waiting until the last minute to hand it over. I feel that it is somehow irrational, but I feel better that others join me in that thought.
