I picked up Fallen, the second Seven Deadly Sins book, used, and I packed it for a trip last weekend without realizing that it's book #2 in a series. Of course, I managed to get sucked in. Way to go, haha.

So here's my question. Is it necessary to have read book 1 before book 2, or do they stand alone?

Carolyn F. I don't think it's necessary. I've read 2 of the 7 deadly sins and they had nothing to do with each other. I don't think the characters overlapped at all. So you should be fine.

Thanks, Carolyn. I really didn't want to have to put this one down and wait until I could find the first one, haha.

I'll definitely be on the lookout for it, though. I like McCarthy's writing style so far. :)

Gemma (bookmoodreviews) | 511 comments have you finished Fallen?

What about that Piano scene?

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 80 comments I haven't read any of her PNR. Heiress for Hire is my only exposure to date. Yes, there is a ghost, but it is so not essential to any part of the story.
