1) Happy Hour of the Damned by Mark Henry
2) Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris
3) Mistletoe and Magic Lisa Cach et. al.
All 3 books have children in them, although some times a bit of a weird portrait of “child”. Specifically the “children” in Happy Hour look like little girls—but are actually Reapers, a class of supernatural in the series that have the job of helping to keep the “Otherworld” from the attention of “Normals”.
Mistletoe and Magic has children in several of the short stories—and even a mother. :o)
Dead in the Family has Hunter, Sookies little cousin in it. He spends some time with Sookie.
