Jael ~ *~ Syhren ~* ~ (wwwgoodreadscomprofilejael) Thierry and Jema's story. Discuss.

Jael ~ *~ Syhren ~* ~ (wwwgoodreadscomprofilejael) This was one of the saddest books in the series for me. Two men in love with the same womn and Jema being made to think she was dying from a fatal disease just so some crazed doctor could study her. The fight scene between Jaus and Thierry was tragic. This was good book I love Thierry and Jema's dream scenes and the ending was a page turner.

new_user I was really kind of shocked at what happened in that fight scene. Viehl is brave. I don't think many authors would have let that happen to one of their darling characters, lol. I though that was really, er, tacky of Jaus, for lack of a better word, to fight over her, but he was in love with the girl so I guess he can be forgiven.

TinaNoir Of the whole series, this was my least favorite. it is weird because I actually really liked elements of the story very much. I adored Jaus and his interactions with Alexandra.

And of all of John Keller's side adventures, the one here in this book at the runaway shelter was the most interesting to read about.

And the climatic scene at the party with the revelations of Jema's doctor and her mother and of course the fight, was absolutely brilliant.

But...I simply wasn't involved with Thierry and Jema. And I was impatient whenever they were "on scene".

new_user Yeah, this book didn't make too much of an impact on me either, Tina. Maybe because we didn't get to know Thierry all that well? I'm not sure.

Jael ~ *~ Syhren ~* ~ (wwwgoodreadscomprofilejael) Tina - I agree the John Keller story was alot more intersting b/c of the kids. This was probably the only book where I didn't want to skip through his story to get back to the main characters. I liked Jema and Thierry and was actually glad those two got together. Jema and Jaus would have been too weird.

Jennifer (jen421) | 15 comments I liked this one quite a bit. It's not my favorite of the series, but not my least favorite either. I really felt Jaus' pain though, and was glad when he finally got his own book. He's an interesting character.

Jael ~ *~ Syhren ~* ~ (wwwgoodreadscomprofilejael) Oh I love Jaus. I just found him wanting to be with Jema a little bit to creepy but I'm glad he found his mate. I really felt bad for him when he lost his arm.
