Since we don't really know what Barrons is I wonder if it won't somehow cement his place with all the supernatural people.

That is interesting and would explain why he knows so much and people are scared of him.

I think that he is the UnSeelie King and he wants to destory the book to atone for all the chaos he created when he made it!!!
