I picture Barrons and V'lane being aroung 30. Any older and Mac (22) would not be interested in them. I mean 22 just don't find 40 year old attractive!!

Ian is still my Barrons. He is hot and sexy and has a badass quality and lots of edge!!! He is the loveable badboy. Eric looks was too old!!!

I truly hope they go through with it and don't fuck it up like they usually mess up book transitions into movies!

I actually don't mind new actors being brought in, I think it worked well for the twilight franchise (except kristen stewart, I do not like her!)

and Emma and Dakota are making big bucks in other movies so we will see.

I was just saying in "my" mind while I was reading Barrons was older. However, if I was 20 years old reading the Fever Series he would probably be 30 in my mind(not late 30s-40s). I think it depends on the person. My best friend dated 40 year old guys when she was 20. She thought they were hot. I thought it was gross. But now that I am 37, 40 is not gross anymore to me haha. But back to Barrons, if he is 30 I will be okay with that...a MATURE 30 though.

But anyway, Melody I agree with you. They sold the rights (to Fox I think) forA Great and Terrible Beautyto make the movie and then they nixed it. Which really sucks because I loved the book. Hope they do not do this with Fever but who knows.

I think it was book #3, because that is when she found out his birthday and did the whole cake thing.

I need to look that up again and see how that went. I don't think she saw a year did she? Just the day and date? Didn't she debate on how many candles to put on the cake? I picture Barrons as 30ish, too.

Kriten Bell is was too bubbly to play Mac- she can't bring the pathos to the charater.

Bethany was killer on Guiding Light and she was amazing on One Tree Hill and she can sing!!!!

No way am I budging on Ian being Barrons. If you watch VD then you would know that he can play snark, badass, sexy, and be vulnerable at the same time. Ian can play complex!!! And did I mention how hot he is!!!!!

LOL Kristen Bell can sing as well, not sure that that matters, but she has some serious "pathos" throughout the 3 VM seasons. Have you seen the show? Shes amazing at just about everything Ive seen her do, including singing.

I agree. Ian is too pretty and he would be great as Christian.
Barrons needs to be DARK, SEXY and more mature looking. He has dark eyes in the book. The blue eyes can go to V'Lane and Christian. Barrons needs dark eyes!!!!:)

Can a guy ever be too pretty? Ever heard of contacts. I mean Kristen wore them in Twiligh. Also Ian is in his 30's. Eric is not attractive and he is so old!! Barrons is not that old.

I have never really seen VM. I tried to watch it but it didn't hold my interest. Kristen has way too bubbly a voice and she wouldn't look good as a brunette.

I think in general the casting should go younger or the tweens won't watch it and that is the market the advertisers will want.

What this series it totally PG13. She is really descriptive with the sex. I mean there are no penis or cock or pussy or cunt words really going on. It would only be rated R for violence. The tweens would still go.

Sorry, but there is no way I would want to see any part of this series tweened. It’s very mature, in every aspect of the word, throughout the entire series. Besides, currently sex is still a number one seller, so why bother muting what was intended. JMHO

Ian as Christian or DEG for sure. Too small to play the "space saturating" Barrons. I guess we can keep Eric until everyone more or less agrees on someone. LOL Cause I'm sure everyone has different pictures in their minds anyway. :~P

I hate to say it but I do not like Patrick Wilson as a great looking guy. Maybe the guy next door, but he just doesn't do anything for me, especially after seeing his sex scene with Malin Ackerman in Watchmen. Blech, they made him sooo ugly in that movie.

I think the only description we get for Ry is when Mac goes to Chester's and sees Ryodan in the glass office and he is watching Dani speed around the hidden room trying to escape couple of his men. I'm pretty sure even then shes very vague on the description. I will have to look it up again. As usual. :~P

Henry would have to keep his close-trimmed beard in order to look old enough. They would also have to darken his hair. But he is definitely yummy!

And darker. Barrons is all shadows and dark eyes, so he'd have to dye his hair and maybe bronze up his skin some...

IMO I don't like Eric Etebari for Barrons, something about him just doesn't sit right with me. My choice is the model David Gandy. I don't know if he can act to save his life but he is the ultimate Barrons to me! Here are a few pics...
