Moning Maniacs discussion

He's doing a lot of independent films these days, and that picture is from skinwalkers. It came out in 2008, I believe. He's playing a lot of bad boy roles these days and if you watch any you'll see that he pulls off being intensely aloof so well, which is one of the reasons I think he'd make a good Barron's.

Yeah, Jason was definitely my first pick, but I saw some recent shots of Steven that I can't seem to find anywhere and he looks so much older. Whenever I find them, i'll be posting them.

Those guys are hot but I'm sticking with Eric Etebari or David Gandy. :)

I'm worried those guys are too young looking. How badass looking is he going to be without his long hair?

Oh, he's hot for sure. Even has intense eyes. Just too young and clean for my idea of Barrons.

you guys have to see him in action. He looks a lot older and twice as mean when he's acting. You should check out some of his scenes from skinwalkers. That's where you'll see pics of his awesome body and his bad boy persona.

This will sound crazy but I can picture Eric as Barron's because he's too intense. The way I imagine Barron's is as this totally aloof guy who rarely shows the slightest bit of emotion. Every Time I see Eric I see some visual display of emotion, and that just doesn't fit.

OK guys bear with me, I have a few more ideas to play with.

Fiona-I like Diane Lane or Lena Olin, both have that timeless beauty.


Next for Jack Lane William Peterson.

Rowena I guess should be one of the most obvious two, Judy Dench or Vanessa Redgrave.

Derek Obanion could be Collin Farrell.


AND I just had to throw in a few since I have loved Jason Behr since Roswell and he just keeps getting sexier.

Jason Behr is hot, hot, hot! Just not old enough for Barrons. Maybe Christian or the boy with the beautiful eyes.

And I vote no on Vanessa Redgrave as Rowena. I love Vanessa Redgrave and I despise Rowena. Judy Dench is a little more evil looking. Haha!

That last pic of him is a younger one. I think hes like 37 now. But I still don't know who's my fav for Barrons. Too many good choices.

Diane Lane can do bitch good! I have seen her in older movies where she does it great. Check out Lady Beware if you can find it. I can see her playing Fiona.

I like Jason B. He totally rocked in Roswell!!! I just think he might be too old. I would cut it off at 33. Any older and it won't work!!!

Clive Owens is my #1 choice for Barrons. Especially, when he looks like this.........

what about amanda seyfried for Mac?-here's a link to her pic, i don't know how to post them in the writing, but she's cute and sweet looking/ the right age, I think she'd be a good mac (she was in Mama Mia, Dear John, HBO's Big Love...)

I loved Amanda on Veronica Mars LOL, but I don't think she can be tough enough. Shes awesome at cute and sweet. Maybe Alina? No shes supposed to be older than Mac and I'm stuck on Kristen Bell being Mac. LOL Ill just talk myself through this one.

i guess when I think of mac, i think of the rainbows....i can think of rainbows when I see pics of amanda seyfried.....on the tough thing, I don't know, I think that's part of the draw of mac, someone so sweet/innocent looking, becoming tough.... it would be interesting to see amanda seyfried with black hair and leather.....she might be able to pull it off

Okay, so I totally wish David Gandy would go into acting. He it totally Barron's in my mind. If not, I think I would go with Henry Cavill. What about Emily de Ravine for Mac? I think she could have light or dark hair and she is a good actress. I loved her in Lost!

Completly agree!!!!! I effin LOVE David Gandy! I picture him as all my heros in my books I read. However I can REALLY picture him as Barrons probably bc I always see him in all those D&G suits.

I believe they already have chosen an actor for Barrons; Eric Etebari. He's not bad. I really wish they wouldn't make a movie. It's not the same.

What about CHLOË GRACE MORETZ for Dani? She played in Kick Ass and has been picked as one of the top 10 breakout actresses for 2010 by Yahoo. She's 13.

Joe is my number one pick too, especially since Gandy isn't an actor.
But my question is How the Hell do we get everyone OFF Eric Etebari for their #1 choice. I do NOT want him at all. I dare say I may even boycott any movie made with him attempting to play Barrons! Just cause he wants it real bad doesn't mean he can do it justice. It just means hes as obsessed with the character as we are. :grumble hiss snarl:

Amanda Seyfried as a dark haired badass though?

She's cute and bubbly as a blonde, but I just don't see her as tough, weapon wielding Mac with dark hair.

We need a girl that starts out shallow/blonde/stereotypical looking but then can dye her hair and put on dark clothing and transform into something different.

I'm not sure she's a perfect fit, but I'm trying to picture her in the role and it's not so far off...(she's in gossip girl, never seen the show but liked her in the movie Accepted)

Lately Jason Momoa has been playing the role of Barrons in my head.

I love Jason Behr as Barrons, HOT and not seen often anymore. I LOVE CHLOË GRACE MORETZ as Dani.

And so far I can't stop picturing Brittany Snow as Mac. That's who I pictured long before I joined the group. I saw her as Mac from the first Episode of Harry's Law in her pink clothes and perfect blonde hair.

I'm surprised nobody has posted this, or maybe i'll be the only one who likes him. But here is who I think should be Barrons.

I like her! And even better, I've never seen her before so that makes it perfect, haha.

I love Gerard Butler, (he's gorgeous and hilarious and I could devour him) but it seems that no matter what movie it is he's always named to play the lead (Gerard and Henry Cavill). I don't see him as Barrons, personally. I could maybe see him playing Jayne or O'Bannion. He doesn't have the dark Pict looks, IMO, that are described in the books.
