JSWolf | 649 comments Why is it that when you put in a MMPB, it shows (Mass Market Paperback) and when an eBook is put in, it shows as (ebook) when it should be (eBook)?

Ralph Gallagher | 200 comments There isn't a standard spelling for ebook yet. E-book, e-book, e-Book, eBook, ebook, and Ebook are all spellings that are used around the web.

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments Hmm. There was a discussion on this maybe six months back or so, I think, but I can't turn it up on the search. As I recall, the capitalization of ebook is in fact deliberate, but I'm afraid I couldn't tell you the reasons for it. (The search, at least, is promised to be fixed soon, so perhaps the answer will resurface in a few days...?)

Sandra | 31413 comments Cait, I remember we had this discussion about 6 months ago too.

I seem to remember that it was decided ebook simply because that was the consensus of opinion at the time.
And I must admit that I still prefer ebook over all others that Ralph listed.

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments It was "discussed" here, although the thread was really about choosing 1 format rather than which format

JSWolf | 649 comments There is more a standard on eBook then ebook and I do think eBook is correct.
