HELP - How Do I... discussion

I am trying to add books to my collection, the book doesn't come up using the searches here at Goodreads, either searching Goodreads, or Amazon UK, but I know it's there because it comes up when I search directly at Amazon UK (and I've added it from those sites to places like BookMooch and LibraryThing in the past).

The book was published in 1931, so has no ISBN number.

Why isn't it appearing on my Goodreads search? Do I really have to manually add it?

What info do you have on the book, Ancestral?

Legends And Folk Lore Of The Scottish Lowlands by M.V. Jack, published in 1931 by Collins Clear Type Press, Hardcover, 104 pages.

Tried my best, Ancestral, but it's a manual one I think. The search engine on GR may be restrictingly at fault. Sorry. Sounds like a good read. I buy these kind of books for reference material, they're very interesting.

So, does Goodreads have a technical area, other than here, to register problems?

I suggest (which you probably did) you look at the online help and if it doesn't cover your needs, then email GR for HELP(bottom right of any page) for a workaround that is not supplied.
If you still don't have any luck then I'll add the book manually to my profile then you can just select it. Let me know how you get on :)

Thanks! I did look for a contact page where you could post queries, but somehow couldn't locate it. I'll let you know when I get a response.
