Michelle Gilmore | 3220 comments Has anybody had a chance to start this one yet? I keep going to the used bookstore to search for a copy, and its never there. I'll break down an buy a new copy sometime this week.

Megan | 1285 comments I haven't started yet. I read the first page of the first story and put it down... didn't really "get it," but maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance.

Carolyn F. Not yet, I'll move it closer to the top.

Michelle Gilmore | 3220 comments I'm thinking that I'll only end up reading the Kim Harrison and Jeaniene Frost stories. Of all the authors in Unbound, I've only read those two. The other authors have all written series that I'd like to start, and I have "spoiler anxiety." If anyone knows whether or not the other stories are prequels, please let me know :)

Michelle Gilmore | 3220 comments Try as a might, I can't find this one in the ubs, BAM, or my nearest Borders (even though Border's website says its in, it isn't!). I've been avoiding amazon because I tend to over spend on there. I'll check the library, and if they don't have it, I'll order it before next weekend.

Ann aka Iftcan (iftcan) Well, daughter finally returned this book. I'd already read it, so am willing to discuss it with anyone else who has also read it.

So come on ladies lets talk about the book. :o)

Michelle Gilmore | 3220 comments I was finally able to get my hands on a copy of Unbound. I started reading Ley Line Drifter written by Kim Harrison. I think its starting off a little slow, but I do like the Rachel Morgan series, especially Jenks, so I feel confident it'll get better.

Michelle Gilmore | 3220 comments I finished Ley Line Drifter by Kim Harrison. It was okay, I guess. I just expect novella's somehow complement their main series, and this story just didn't do it for me.

Michelle Gilmore | 3220 comments I just finished reading Reckoning by Jeaniene Frost. This story is featuring Bones from the Night Huntress series. I loved this story! It's sad, funny, and a little scary. That story alone gets 5 stars! I only wish I read it before starting the Night Huntress series.

Megan | 1285 comments I only read Reckoning myself. I thought it was good too. I didn't think that it NEEDED to be read before Halfway to the Grave though.

You're right. I got a better understanding of Bones when reading the Reckoning. I would've been more impressed by his and Cat's first meeting and relationship in book 1 of the Night Huntress series. Either way, I've moved the books 3 and 4 up in my tbr pile!

Megan | 1285 comments That's good. They are well worth the read, I love Cat, but I don't think Bones is "all that"... I know several people how would disagree with me... but after book 4 I just wanted to rip my hair out...I don't give anything away to you or anyone who hasn't read book 4 in the Night Huntress series.
