How do you think Silent Brothers come to be? They're Shadowhunters who
choose to "mutilate" themselves and become Silent Brothers. Therefore more
of them can always be made. Even if Valentine had killed every single one of
them on the planet (and he didn't, a few did survive, despite what Alec
says, because they weren't in the Bone City at the time of the attack),
there could still be more of them created. And it's now been months since
the end of City of Glass.

OMG! Daylighter, where did you find the excerpt? I've been looking EVERYWHERE for something, but I haven't found much, just a video with Cassie reading an excerpt and something about an excerpt that's going to be in the paper back edition of City of Glass.I'm soooo excited for City of Fallen Angels and Clockwork Angel. If anyone wants, I have a few excerpts from Clockwork Angel.

new excerpt: “How many other people?” Alec asked. “Roughly.”
Magnus shook his head. “I can’t count and it doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is how I feel about you.”
“More than two hundred?” Magnus looked blank. “Three hundred?”
“I can’t believe we’re just having this conversation now,” Magnus said, to no one in particular.
“Why so many?” Alec’s blue eyes were very bright in the dimness. It was hard to tell if he was angry — he didn’t sound angry, just very intense, but Alec was a shut-down person and perhaps this was as angry as he ever got. “Do you get bored with people fast?”
“I live forever,” Magnus said quietly. “But not everyone does.”
Oh, yeah, that scene is probably after Alec meets someone from Mangus' past. I heard about that part... Alec is asking about how many people Mangus has dated. (If you didn't know, Mangus wasn't always gay. Well, that's what I heard, anyway) Thanks for the new excerpt Daylighter!Icelyn

I'm trying not to, but I was so happy with the end of CoG, that I'm worried that something will change or be messed up. The other line kinda freaks me out too. “He is bound to you,” said the Queen. “But does he love you?” yikes! I do love the Magnus and Alex part tho.

Yeah, that was directed towards Simon. In CoFA, Simon is dating Izzy AND Maia. So, when Simon starts going out with Izzy, that's probably what she asked him. I just hope he wasn't stupid enough to tell both of them that he loved them.... That would be funny, though!
Haha, I found this one quote... it's kinda funny.

no i think Jace is bound to her, cause she brought him back from the dead! so he kinda can't just leave her right?!! so that's my theory. like as if he has no choice in leaving their relationship, cause he's bound to her, but who knows if he still loves her! if that makes sense. can u imagine how that relationship would be like though? Jace would never win an argument lol, it could just end with the statement that i brought u back to the world because i love u so much! how is he gonna top that?
