Brittany (celticrockchic) | 19 comments I really shouldn't watch clips like this because all it does is make me angry that I have to wait until DECEMBER!

Kayla | 9 comments That was an amazing movie clip. Now I am mad I have to wait!!!

message 5: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (michelleellen) I KNEW that was going to be the scene they would show, because I've already seen still shots of it! I was kind of hoping they had another scene done, but oh well. I guess they are keeping it all to themselves until December. It's so far away!!

message 6: by Sella (new)

Sella Malin This is all wrong...what happened to the bite?? Why did James never bite Bella?? That's really important!!!

message 7: by Angie (new)

Angie Canada bans the MTV website??????? No way! Total censorship!

I agree with Sella. I'm noticing in several of the Twilight clips that things aren't the way they were in the book. James is suppose to bite Bella then she blacks out as Edward arrives. She doesn't look anywhere close to blacking out in that clip let alone injured enough for Edward to contemplate turning her.

I also noticed in the trailer that Bella and Edward are in the woods when she asks him how long he's been 17 for. In the book they were in a car.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be another Eragon *sighs* And I'm sorry, but EVERY time I see Kristen's face in this clip I get annoyed. Something about that chick irritates me. I wish I knew what it was LOL

Another thing I don't understand, why does Edward let James smash him into the wall mirror in this clip? Why doesn't he just start fighting him right away? It seems like it's because James has him by the throat but that makes no sense since vampires don't need to breath...anyone else find that strange??

message 11: by Krista (new)

Krista I do but he might have been making James thinking he is a lot weaker than he really is. That way James would let his guard down and would be easier to defeat.

message 12: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (michelleellen) I agree with Krista. Plus it's a movie, so they probably did that for a cool shot / dramatic effect.

message 13: by Sella (new)

Sella Malin Yeah...but I wish they wouldn't change all these details. I agree with Kamikazie Kitty, I hope it's not going to be another Eragon...

message 14: by Angie (new)

Angie Yea what was with Edward getting slammed into the wall! I hated that part!

message 15: by Kayla (new)

Kayla | 9 comments Same here. But I did love Edwards face when he hits James and looks at Bella. It is indescribable!!!!!

message 17: by Angie (new)

Angie Are they not going to show any fangs?

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

The vampires in the book don't have fangs just really sharp teeth. They look like normal human teeth.

message 19: by Kayla (new)

Kayla | 5 comments So awesome. I can't wait until December!

I really hope it isn't like Eargon. If it is those movie producers are going to be hearing from me.

message 20: by Angie (new)

Angie OK the fang thing is weird.. how would normal teeth penetrate through skin? Guess I missed that in the book~!

message 21: by Synova (new)

Synova | 21 comments the teeth are just very sharp and venomous... hence the issues when Bella gets a little too into kissing Edward :)

message 22: by Angie (new)

Angie Do you think the teeth were toned down since it is a YA novel?

message 23: by Synova (new)

Synova | 21 comments I don't think that it's because it's YA, I think it's so they blend with humans easier...

message 24: by Angie (new)

Angie Well that makes sense. It is unusual, so I was wondering if she was just trying to make it less gory. But they would blend in with humans better.

message 25: by Synova (new)

Synova | 21 comments The author isn't really overly descriptive of vampire habits that would be destructive. She describes in great detail what they look like, and how quick and graceful they are, but when it comes to eating or killing... its left very vague (IMHO) Bella was passed out when Jasper and Emmett killed James, (no description), Rosalie stopped when telling her story before it got too detailed, and when Edward kills Victoria in Eclipse, you hear more about it from him asking Bella if she's okay with what just happened (which isn't much) than you see from Bella's point of view. So really I think with the way she writes, if she wanted them to have fangs, it wouldn't necessairly be gory. But I bet the aversion to gory details could be a concession to the YA genre

Ryara Toft | 6 comments AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHH DECEMBER BETTER HURRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

message 27: by Heather (new)

Heather (hansohn) I think it was kinda unrealistic how James was choking Edward...Vamps don't need to breathe!

message 28: by Kayla (new)

Kayla | 9 comments I saw the Twilight poster in the movie thatres. They might be showing prmiers for the movie now or next month!!!!!
