I read Patricia Briggs next Love Her!
I think after that I went LKH and became a die hard Anita fan - cannot get enough
I read the Merry Gentry series because I couldn't get enough Anita.
I tried but I couldn't really get into Jim Butcher, Kim Harrison, Carrie Vaughn, Mary Janice Davidson
a couple that I thought were good but I haven't seen mentioned here are
Jeanne C. Stein
Jaye Wells
Richelle Mead

Thanks for your suggestions!

Cool that you like lots of different stuff as well. Nice to know there are other people that actually like to read all kinds of books! ( I have a friend who will ONLY read crime novels, I read a few once in awhile but its hard to recommend much to him).
There are a several mysteries I've read with culinary themes, don't know if you would like them but I can dig around and find the names of those if you want??
Let me know.

all great choices, I didn't see any Emma Holly in there, she writes a fabulous "upyr" series, and her fairies are pretty hot too! Also, Octavia Butler, Tanarive Due, Susan Squires, Susan Sizemore. *sigh* so many books, so little time

Mysteries with culinary themes: Joanne Fluke( main character is the owner of a bakery, light mysteries, cute), Diane Mott Davidson ( mysteries set in Colorado where the character ownes a catering service)
Both of these books have recipes. Peter King has a gourmet detective mystery series, these are a little slower but I love hearing about the travel and food anyway.
GA Mckevett, funny mystery series with food names, everyone is always eating or fixing something to eat, interesting characters.
Also, Miranda Bliss has a maybe 4 books set in a restaurant.

Watch posts and I will get back to you might be a month or so till I get to them. I have lots I'm working on, just got the new Sookie Stackhouse, and of course it will be done very soon. And let me know too if you liked any of those..

Oh, dead and gone was great! the rachel morgan series by harrison is great also, i got my daughters "once dead twice shy" by harrison, a continuation of a short story in "prom nights from hell". very good.
Angela Knight and Morgan Hawke write some awesome paranormal hot stuff, steamy and well written

I didn't like that the fairies are sealed off from the humans but...we will see what happens, maybe that won't be forever? I will look into those also. Whew! Sounds like you read tons like I do.( each time you mention an author I check it out and add to my list, not to promote amazon or anything...just incase you didn't already have this...they have a wish list feature so you can put down what you want next..helps me to remember even if I don't get them all from Amazon)
Lisa I LOVE ERIC Too! I didn't like how quinn kinda was just dropped off after he made his first appearance in the book. That was a little weird. I just don't know if sookie feels the same way about eric that I do about him. Honestly I think that She will end up with sam even though I like Eric way better.

yaeh I agreed about dropping Quinn so quick, sortof felt like that was left hanging....still do somewhat, but who knows maybe he will at least get to talk to Sookie later?? Agree, not quite sure I trust Eric....Sam might not be a big Viking warrior but way more trustworthy!

Patricia Briggs Alpha and Omega series and Mercy Thompson series.(she also has a new graphic novel that is good for anyone who may be interesting)
Kelley Armstrong Women of the Otherworld series and Darkest Powers series
Jenna Black Morgan Kingsley series
Jeaniene Frost Night Huntress series
Stacia Kane Personal Demons & Demon Inside
Karen Chance Dorina Basarab series and Cassandra Palmer series
Christine Warren The Others series
Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games & Catching Fire

and Night Huntress series by Jeanine Frost is great too!! Try those!

Funny you should mention this series Meesa, I just added this to my TBR list!:) Glad to hear it's good!

Sherri L. King - Fetish
Lora Leigh - The Breeds
Kate Douglas - Wolf Tales
Christina Dodd - Darkness Chosen
Sherrilyn Kenyon - The Leaque

Thanks for the suggestion but the gay stuff just doesn't appeal. But there is so much out there of paranormals, I just keep trying new books and authors and I always find things I like.
