Summertime is often the time when families get together to catch up on things so for this task let's read....
A. A book that has the word Family in the title (EXAMPLE: The Swiss Family Robinson) OR a book with a specific family member in the title i.e. Sister, Brother, Cousin etc. (EXAMPLE: The Grandmothers)
AND
B. Tell the group at least one thing that you love about your own family or the family member from your title.

If you need suggestions OR have suggestions for books to read for this task post them here.

Felina | 0 comments Would The Godfather work for this? A godfather is not technically a family member.

message 3: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia (pandoraphoebesmom) | 1332 comments I'm thinking blood or marriage related (if your godfather is related to you by blood/marriage I would accept it).

How to Murder a Millionaire (Blackbird Sisters Mystery, #1)"

Since that is a series title and not a subtitle no.

Megan Anderson (ms_anderson) | 1464 comments Will "parents" work, or does it need to be "mother" or "father" specifically?

Cynthia (pandoraphoebesmom) | 1332 comments Ms Anderson wrote: "Will "parents" work, or does it need to be "mother" or "father" specifically?"

It needs to be an individual person or the word family itself.

It needs to be just sister/brother/father etc.

Option A calls for "A book that has the word Family in the title". So, yes, it works.

Heather | 384 comments I guess I'm asking because the book isn't really a "traditional book." Wanted to make sure before I put it on my list! It's got just what it says...and awkward family photo on each page with a comentary on each photo. Just wanting to make sure that will be ok.

In a way, it reminds me of a graphic novel...kinda.
