Theresa (tsorrels) No spoilers in this topic, please.

Note: Putting up this topic early so feel free to talk about the book now if you wish. :)

DarkHeart "Vehngeance" (darkheart) | 113 comments I've had this one on my shelf for a few months now and have heard great things, so I'm really looking forward to starting it.

Terri (terrilovescrows) | 46 comments I thought it was interesting. The cold aspect a new twist.

message 4: by Lisa M (new)

Lisa M | 311 comments I look forward to reading it. Here's hoping my library has it. :)

message 5: by Dejsha (new)

Dejsha | 46 comments I finished this book last month. And even though the pacing was slow, it added to the books "feel" instead of taking away from the story.

I really enjoyed the main character and am looking forward to reading some more of her books.

message 6: by Melodie (new)

Melodie (melodieco) I read this back in February and LOVED it. I can't remember the last time a book made me cry, but this one did. I don't cry over anything!

DarkHeart "Vehngeance" (darkheart) | 113 comments Hmm... I cry at the drop of a hat and I brought this to work with me today to start at lunch. It probably isn't immediately weepy though, so I'll just have to finish it up at home this weekend so I'm not a teary mess at work. =)

It didn't make me cry until the end!

Lisa M | 311 comments My library finally has it back in stock and I'm picking it up today. Can't wait! :)

Kinda off topic, but there's a sequel of this one coming out soon: [image error] . Didn't know if anyone knew about that yet.

I've had it on order ever since I finished SHIVER. The books are actually a trilogy. The 3rd one is listed here on GR.

I didn't know that. I just got an email from Borders offering to reserve it (Linger, that is) for half off. If I like Shiver, I may do that. :)

Jazmyn Burton Shiver is such an amazing book... Sam is amazing <3

message 13: by Irene (new)

Irene Hollimon | 37 comments I'm still close to the beginning. I just finished reading the hunt scene. It was intense. It actually had me holding my breath.

message 14: by Lisa M (new)

Lisa M | 311 comments I'm still near the beginning -- Sam has just started looking for Jack. But I'm kinda having problems getting into it. It's more PNR-ish than I normally like. I really want to get into this. I love werewolf books, and this is a real unique (and poignant!) take on them. I'd love to see where it goes. I keep hoping for a little more action, tho. I'll keep reading for now.

message 15: by Irene (new)

Irene Hollimon | 37 comments I usually like more action in my books. More sex, more violence e.g. Laurell K. Hamilton It surprises me that the book still manages to be suspenseful and even intense in places without all the action I'm used to.

message 16: by Irene (new)

Irene Hollimon | 37 comments That's a strange turn with Beck. I didn't see that coming.

message 17: by Shomeret (new)

Shomeret | 233 comments I'm sorry, but this wasn't my kind of book. I gave up on it. I do read YA novels, but they're usually about teens who think and behave differently than average teens in our culture.
