Thanks Cammie but I feel really hard on my butt today..LOL!! We went garage saling and I picked up some books..LOL!! Back to 4 hours for me..LOL!!

I almost caved yesterday at the grocery store, but my son pulled me away. He said I've been good for 3 months, don't mess it up now. I just know the time is coming when I won't be able to hold back. LOL

I see some I have an addiction and need to stop

I have over 200+ that I have not read

so far this year have bought 122

last shopping trip was this morning where bought 6 and recieved 2 through post . bought last book 10am about 10 hours ago

I should add that i bought books saturday & sunday

1 day, I bought a book yesterday and the funny thing is that I think I already have it... : ))

been a full day though recieved a book ordered pre last shopping trip

I'm almost to a week! Of course, I have to go shopping today, so...telling myself to be strong and resist. My goal is to hold out until the 21st. That's 10 days total, which would be a new record for me, I think.

Oh, and if someone gives you the book for free does that count? I mean, do you have to consider it as a buy?

just after my last post I bought matched by allie condie on internet and bid for 2 books on ebay...ohhh not doing so well

Nope, if it's a gift or bought with a gift card you are good. Only books you pay actual money for you have to count.

I'm still going strong at 3 months and almost 2 weeks.

I'm back up to 2 days, but I'll be purchasing a book before the end of the week, so I don't why I'm bothering to count.

a little more than an hour

Well, I made it 3 months and 3 weeks and then I finally caved today. I;m hanging my head in shame. But in my defense, I told my husband I didn't want to buy any new books because I've made it almost 4 months and what does he do? He told me to get in the car he wanted to take me somewhere, that somewhere was B&N. Since I was there, and he gave me $46 dollars to spend on myself I couldn't hold back.

Seems I was getting on his nerves talking about books I saw that I wanted. LOL

@ Lisa on that is to funny..I am always talking about books to my hubby to and when we go shopping I show him the books I want..hoping one day he will remember and surprise me..don't know if I should let the hope go or not..LOL!! Okay now since hubby paid for the books does that mean you fell or they were gifts???

No, it counts because he kept $40 for him to spend on what he wanted and I had $40 to spend on what I wanted. But he did take me there without me knowing where we were going.

Got a free book on Kindle yesterday but it is still a book to add to my list of books...So back to not even 24 hours!! : ((
