Do you check your favorite author sites for freebies? Updates on new releases?


I try to check them every so often and here’s a few things I found recently and thought I’d share.

Jeaniene Frost has posted 4 snippets from Eternal Kiss of Darkness They're small, but tasty. >:) I can't wait for this one, due out @ 27 July!

Larissa Ione has a few freereads offered here, included are: Bloodlust, Demonica: Overkill and Demonica Compendium (which is not listed @ GR).

Check out Jaye Wells' Site for some tiny bites from Sabina's World.

Kim Harrison offers up some “Bits & Bobs” from Rachel Morgan’s World .

Nalini Singh offers some free short stories from the Psy-Changeling World .

I have no doubt that die-hard BDB fans already know, but J.R. Ward offers "Slices of Life" from the BDB clan. And a deleted scene from Covet.

Karen Chance has some short stories from Cassandra Palmer’s World. The Day of the Dead: Tomas' Story and The Queen's Witch: Kit Marlowe's Story are currently available.

There used to be more than these two, hopefully they’ll go up again eventually. Sounds like she’s going to be posted some new ones in the future as well. From my earlier grab: Shadowland: Pritkin’s Story Chapters 1-4 were offered with word that more would follow ... nothing so far and Masks: Mircea Basarab’s Story was listed as due to be released for download sometime in Sept 2010.

Ilona Andrews offers up a sneak peek & "very large chunk" of Magic Bleeds, to be released TOMORROW, 25 May(Yeah)!

Rachel Caine has short stories from both her Morganville Vampires and Weather Warden series.

Jim Butcher has two short stories available on his web site set in his Harry Dresden world Restoration of Faith and Publicity and Advertising

Kelley Armstrong has a short story about Nick, Framed, and a graphic novel about Elena becoming a werewolf, Becoming

I will pass the Dresden ones off to my husband. I haven't read that or MV or WW yet.
I saved the PDF of both Kelley's to read soon.
