Laura (apenandzen) Fi is a natural-born writer, so it makes sense her blog would be good as well....

Baaahhhhhh!! Sheep!

:P

Amy Okay what I want to know is how to customize it and make it my own? I can't figure it out and it's making me crazy.

I think a section with everyone's blogs would be awesome!

message 7: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) I used www.thecutestblogontheblock.com - you just browse their backgrounds and stuff and they give you the code and instructions to use it.

And I used quite a few widgets from Goodreads on mine. :)

message 8: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) I like mine, but I'm a simple kind of girl. I do wish that I knew more html though. I know like... ONE code over the barest of the basics. LOL

message 9: by Amy (new)

Amy Code is scary! I also found www.wordpress,com for blogs. Haven't decided where I'm going to creat mine yet.

message 10: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) I like blogger, it makes it easy to follow blogs... I still haven't been able to follow blogs (other than rss or email) otherwise. And I hate emails. :(

message 11: by Amy (new)

Amy I figured it out!! So I'm working on my blog.

Just a person (brandi12345678) I am coming to follow you!

message 14: by Amy (new)

Amy Me too!

message 15: by Just a person (new)

Just a person (brandi12345678) Amy- I use pyzam-- you pick blogger templates, and you get all sorts of categories, or you can search what you are looking for.
It gives you a code once you click on one you like and then posting instructions right beside it.

If you want to customize your sidebar- go to your homepage, and click layout. You then click add a gadget, and there will be descriptions of most common/useful- followers, blogs followed, a html box for goodreads bookshelf, buttons, etc, pictures, etc.

Amy Brandi...can you email me the site?

message 18: by Kellee (new)

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) How do you "follow" a blogger?

message 19: by Angela Sunshine (new)

Angela Sunshine (angelasunshine) Usually on the sidebar there'll be a button that says follow. It'll show all of their other followers profile pics in a small group right by the button.

Thanks :)
Do you have to be a member of anything? How do you have a profile picture?

message 21: by Kellee (new)

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) So I have been around technology my whole life, but sometimes I feel quite stupid.
I think I ended up following all of the blogs I follow with both my gmail and my twitter account...
Ugh.

Am I following you twice or once?
Either way, I have figured it out and am following my blogs :)

**This Google Friend/My Blogger thing is confusing me... I hate being confused- it makes me feel old!**

message 23: by Kellee (new)

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) Okay- cool :) Thanks Fiona.

I do love the "My Blogger: Dashboard" because I can see all the updates for all of my blogs in one place.
