Did you like it Vicki? I thought it was really cute.

I liked the story, but hated the writing style. I know many people said they liked the writing in their reviews. I think it just didn't suit my reading style, if that makes any sense. By the end I was forcing myself to finish (because I didn't have time start another for the challenge). I ended up giving it two stars. :S

It does make sense. Sometimes you just don't gel with an author. I thought the writing style was pretty easy, but that's just me.

I love Sharon Draper- how was this one?

Amazing! I would highly recommend it. I think people tend to become desensitized to topics like slavery and the holocaust, so it's great to hava a book that really brings back the human factor. It's heartbreaking to hear how humans can treat one another...
