Kyle Borland (kgborland) Well Young Adult fiction wise (like twilight) I would suggest:

Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr

Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead

Holly Black fairy series starting with Tithe is pretty good. Or her book White Cat that just came out (I haven't read it).

Kim Harrison has a YA series its starts with Once dead, twice shy or something like that.

That should keep ya busy for a while.

Stephanie (Reading is Better With Cupcakes) (imjustcupcake) | 24 comments The House of Night series would be a good place to start.. The first one is Marked (House of Night, #1) by P.C. Cast . I also hear that the Vampire Academy series Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead is a really fun read, I haven't started it myself personally. However, I plan to soon.

Other than that there is:

The Nightworld series. Night World No. 1 Secret Vampire; Daughters of Darkness; Spellbinder by L.J. Smith

Fallen (Fallen, #1) by Lauren Kate ..the second book in this series will be out in Sept or so.

Poison Study (Study, #1) by Maria V. Snyder followed by 2 books.

I am sure other people will come up with even more than you. I attempted to stay in the Young Adult genre for you as I don't know your age >.<

Ez (ezrah-rah) | 219 comments You could try the "Vampire Academy" series by Richelle Mead or "The Vampire Diaries" and "Night World" series by L.J. Smith. Also, there is the "Blue Blood" series by Melissa de la Cruz and the "Vampire Kisses" series by Ellen Schreiber.

~~*Julie Kawalec-pearson (jewel77) | 66 comments I also recommenf Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr it is the first in her Tattoo fairie series... I thought the series was great, Wicked Lovely (Wicked Lovely, #1) by Melissa Marr
I also liked the Mortal Instruments series City of Bones (Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare by Cassandra Clare. I really loved Grave Sight (Harper Connelly, #1) by Charlaine Harris by charlaine harris. it is part of a 4 book series about a women who was struck by lightning and can sense dead bodies. Thats how she makes a living- it is mystery paranormal. I liked the book Beautiful Creatures also but that does have flashbacks and uses some formal language in the flashbacks- its told from a guy point of view. Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia
One more-- I loved the
I disliked House of night out its personal preferance. The Awakening (Darkest Powers, #2) by Kelley Armstrong by kelly armstrong... very good series.

One that I haven't seen mentioned here, that came the closest to that "can it really happen" true love story of Twilight was Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater . That one moved me to tears, and has a sequel coming out next month I think.

Jess | 8 comments One of my favorite series has been Karen Monings Fae series. Only 4 books so far, and the 5th and final comes in December.
When I first started getting into reading I found a couple of people on this site who read the kind of books I liked. I just tracked there reviews and if they said something was really good I checked it out. Now I'm a constant book hound looking at everyones profile with similar interests and seeing how they review a series and seeing if they have similar review to mine in previous books.
