This is the place to share your thoughts about the unique paranormal universe Adrian Phoenix has created in A Rush of Wings.

Let's discuss the different paranormal species present in the book and how they are different/similar to other UF/Paranormal novels and universes, the different traits and powers they have, etc.

♦Jennifer♦ (thejenneral) Okay, what about that whole blue glow thing that Dante had going on. Is he able to manipulate anything on a molecular level? Or is it only living things that he can change? Is this a power that can only destroy? Or is he able to create? I think that it'll be interesting to see how this particular power develops.

Very interesting issue you ahve raised Jennifer :-) I think Dante's powers and the full extent of his abilities will be developed further in the series, because there is a lot of unanswered questions there. In the glossary he is called the Maker/Unmaker, and as he was able to mend Lucien's and Hethear's torn and damaged flesh I would say this is not just a destructive but a creative power. My guess would be that he can change the molecular structure of anything, as I would imagine it must be harder to alter living things, but this is just my logic, we'll ahev to see how Adrian Phoenix intended Dante and his power to work.

I found the paranormal universe in A Rush of Wings original. I liked that Adrian Phoenicx attributed some unusual traits and powers to the creatures and not just the most common ones, so it didn't feel like déjá vu.

I liked her take on angels, how they are not angelic, pure and good creatures but have a darker side, that Lucien having a priority goal (the welfare of Dante) didn't mind taking all steps and sometimes downright bad deeds (killing!) for that aim. Liked how "human" and complex the angels were.

I also loved the telepathic communication :-)
