What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

There's a series of books written maybe in the mid-80s (maybe not) that detail the lives of a French family in Paris, concentrating on the four or five sisters. There are maybe four books in the series and the author's last name might begin with a B. I'm not sure. I read the series in the 90s.

Would it be the series by Janine Boissard about the four Moreau sisters? I have three of the books and only recently discovered there were some I missed.
