Have you used this site? http://www.librarything.com/ It's search tool is brilliant.

Under tags I put in 'fantasy, parallel universes, magic' and got a huge pile of books plus links to similar tag combination.

I've died and gone to book geek heaven.

Regina (reginar) I like librarything alot. I use it too. Also, they have a great early reviewer and free book give away program. I have gotten two free books out of it.

Regina (reginar) I also like this website for keeping track of series and getting updates about new releases in series. Once you enter your books it is kept in chart form and printable.

Jennifer LibraryThing is so much more complicated to use than Goodreads, it seems. Plus it always seems like a ghost town to me. Where are the people?

message 5: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) I agree. Threads and posts take awhile for poeple to respond. I do still use it though.

Robert | 13 comments I enjoy Librarything, Goodreads and even Shelfari. I think it's wonderful we have so many book social networks to choose from. That said, I find Goodreads to be the most active and easy to use of the three.

Michelle Scott (michellescottfiction) I agree with Robert...Librarything and Shelfari are also good for us bibliophiles, lol.

Thank you for the link. I've not heard of it and went to the site. Looks good, I may try it when I've got some free time, lol.

Elizabeth Baxter (smallblondehippy) | 13 comments I've not tried Librarything yet and I'm still in two minds whether to bother. Is there anything you can get there that you can't here on Goodreads?
