Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Back in the day, I'd always thought it would be super cool to be a vampire. But, the more I read about shifters, the more I'm thinking, "screw drinking blood and having to avoid the sun". LOL

I've definitely never had any desire to be fae or any kind. Too trixy for me.

I hope to be a guardian angel to my nearest and dearest when I'm gone.

Demons are cool, but the whole "hell fire" thing kinda sucks. Larissa Ione's demons are pretty cool though, maybe one of those? :)

Witch ... be nice to have some witchy powers, as long as I didn't have to deal with all the problems Rachel Morgan has with her demons, etc. LOL!

Amber (crazyaboutbooks) | 499 comments I'm undecided right now but, have always had a soft spot for anything with wings good or bad.

message 4: by Sashana (new)

Sashana I'd like to be a witch, that way I could still be human but have magical powers. It doesn't even matter what type.

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 1854 comments Shifter for me please, a predatory one, preferably a big cat (probably tiger) or a wolf. I do like dragons but then there're usually dragon slayers, no thanks.

LOL Ames! Have you read Stephanie Rowe's "Immortally Sexy" series? If not, you should check it out, esp book #2 with Theresa's super hot sexy dragon slayer boyfriend. ;) Might change your mind.

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 1854 comments No, I haven't read it but I've added it to my wishlist. And the description of book 2 says he's an ex-dragonslayer, phew!

LOL Ames! Ha..."

That seems like a good series to start, so I'll read that one too. (Whenever I finish the other what 52 series)

Why can't you be a mix of them all? I would love to be that, whatever that would be called.

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 1854 comments Aske, a shifter like Sam from Sookie Stackhouse, who can turn into anything or like a panwere, who carries many beasts like in Anita Blake?

message 10: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Aske, a mix of all the supes listed above or a "shift into anything you can think of" kinda were?

message 11: by Aske (new)

Aske | 119 comments No, just a character that has a bit of every one of the options.

message 12: by Sandra, Kindle Operator Licence Required (new)

Sandra | 25908 comments I'd like to be a shifter who can change into anything. Best of all worlds then - flying, not worrying about a suntan, not being dead when asleep, strong and of course gorgeous.

Awesomevegan (AKA JenReads) (awesomevegan) | 468 comments I think I would want to be a vampire for the immortality. I wouldn't want to drink blood though. I couldn't drink animal blood obviously. I would like to be able to survive on synthetic blood or maybe I would be a vigilante who killed bad humans (You know murderers and rapists... Like a vampire Dexter! But female) I like the concept of the lamia in Night World. They can stop and start aging whenever they want and can have children. I like that idea. I would want to have children or be turned after having a child or maybe more. I hope that all made sense.

A vampire Dexter,lol!

Ooh this is a great question!

I would have to say Werewolf, but the ones created by Kelley Armstrong! None of this ugly crouched over human with a dog face and copious amounts of hair, I want to be able to change completely into a wolf.

But I also like the idea of being a witch, I remember being intrigued with Bonnie from L.J. Smith's Vampire Diaries series when I was 13. I thought she had the coolest role to play. And Eve Lavine in Women of the otherworld series has a strength I would love to have (even if she dables in black magic).
