Glad you like it Carol. Some continents are a little easier than others, but that's part of the fun.

We can go ahead and include Central America with South America. I had trouble finding a mystery for that too and think I ended up with the latest Indiana Jones book as it's set in Peru. It's an adventure but also a mystery.
There's a Gideon Oliver's mystery set in South America and another written by Lyn Hamilton set in Peru.
Titles please. I know Gideon Oliver books are all over the globe, I just don't know which ones are set where.
If you look at Aaron J. Elkins you have Little Tiny Teeth, set in an Amazon expedition. If you look at Lyn Hamilton you have The Moche Warrior, set in Peru.

Edited to add my library has it as a thriller/action book but I've seen it listed as a mystery elsewhere.

Read one book set on each continent. Preferrably read mysteries, but you will be allowed 1 out-of-genre book to help out. (Please mark which ones aren't mysteries to help others who may be checking your lists for ideas). As far as Antartica goes, you may also read a book set in the Artic. The south pole is on Antartica but most of the thrillers set in the frozen wasteland tend to be set in the Artic by the north pole. For Australia, anything set in New Zealand will also count. So it's not left out, you can include Central American in with South America to help you out. Mysteries need not be cozies. Any mystery will do. List what country your book is set in as well please.
