What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

My husband and I listened to this book on take 10-15 hears ago - I think there were two books at least.

This is what I remember:

The guy is hurt and on Earth. The girl helps him then travels with him back to the home world. The guy thinks she is dressed really provocatively because she is wearing tight jeans. They go through many different worlds, including one where they pick up a talking horse. When they get back to his home world the women there were a kind of giant diaper to hide their figures... that's about all I remember.

My Husband:

He remembers more about the wormhole type things and something about some monsters chasing them. If you listened to the two of us describe it, you wouldn't think it is the same book.

This is the Mode series by Piers Anthony, I think. Specifically, Virtual Mode.Virtual Mode

Definately the Mode series. That's what I thought as soon as I read the description. Good call on this Dawn.

Agreed! That's definitely it. (The wormhole and the monsters are one of the later volumes, though, I think.)

OMG! I can't belief it is Pierce Anthony - he's one of my favorite authors! I would have never guessed it was Virtual Mode, but you're right! That's the book! Thanks so much.
