Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

The Sten series of books by Alan Cole & Chris Bunch was put out as a new edition with the names of the authors switched around. So now there are a bunch that need combined, but they have different primary authors.

Is there a way to combine books with different primary authors?

No. Combining them and then changing author order sometimes leaves them combined and sometimes does not, and is not recommended. But it's ok to shift the order of the second edition to match the first for combining purposes.
