I thought I'd introduce myself here. Erm ... where to start? My name is Polly, I'm an English and Media Studies teacher in London and a photographer on the side.

Since I can remember books have been an integral part of my life. My family are obsessive readers (and hoarders) and I've followed in their footsteps.

I obsessively read and obsessively collect books - and my mother and I always agree that the most frustrating thing about books is that you will never be able to read every book that you ever want to because thousands are being written and published as you read.

Well, as you can see, I wasn't active since school started. I had to study a lot, because there was a lot to do. But, it wasn't a waste of time. I came out the first in my class this term (only marks and averages of A everywhere + appreciations from teachers) =D
