What would it be?

:)

Sashana If I were stranded on an island and could only take one books series I'd probably drive myself crazy. I would take Janet Evanovich's Plum series. Not becauce it's my favorite, but because I just started the series and it has alot of books in it so I would be occupied for a while.

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 1854 comments It depends on whether I have food and other essentials necessary for survival, if I don't then it's a really detailed survival guide with pictures please! Otherwise I don't know, I have no idea. I can't choose.

I think that it would have to be the Midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian, I have already re-read the entire series three times and I know that I could read it again and again, and still enjoy it. (that and there are enough books I would probably not lose my sanity waiting to be rescued)

Or Nora Roberts' Three Sister's Island trilogy would be nice too.

Though Amy has a point, unless any of us have been in Girl Guide (Scouts) we'd really need that Survival Guide.

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 1854 comments Aside from my survival guide, I think I'm going to go for Kushiel's Legacy by Jacqueline Carey as I haven't read the last 4 or 5 yet and they're very chunky and quite complex so they'd last me a good couple of weeks I think.

Wave power? - Well, it is an island. And if it's in the tropics -solar power. You'd just need a never ending money source and you'd set for life then :)

Regina (reginar) | 2883 comments Well this is a fantasy question right? :)

Awesomevegan (AKA JenReads) (awesomevegan) | 468 comments I agree. Kindle and a solar charger. Maybe I should invest in a solar charger... And download a survival guide... you know... just in case!

You could use one of those solar power thingys for iPods. LOL

ETA: Duh ... just saw AV had the same thought ... great minds, yah? :)

Aske | 119 comments Kindle and a solar charger is a great idea and if not that then yeah, the survival guide. Otherwise then I would probably take The Demonica series by Larissa Ione or the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Only problem with taking a series would be if you didn't have beginning to end. Then, you'd be stranded on an island with no way of finding out how it all ends or how everyone in the PNR series gets their HEA and who with. >:)

So - in addition to the eReader + solar charger, you'd also need a VERY good Wi-Fi connection! LOL!

message 14: by Aske (new)

Aske | 119 comments Good point, but there's always the possibility of writing your own end! :)

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments I like it, Aske. There'd definitely be time for it, yah? :)

I like where this is going, I would take my Kobo, and a solar charger (in water proof housings!!) hahaha! and with the 100 free classis that the Kobo comes with and all that free time I would have on this Island... I think that I might actually get around to filling my "monthly classics goal"! lol
