I remember reading this series some time ago though I think it was published in the 1990's. The protagonist is a teenage girl about 17 I think? Her name is like Sherlock Holmes, if I remember correctly.
The one book in the series I remember has a picture of her in the front (drawing). She has blonde wild hair and she is standing by a window. I think in it, there was something to do with her being locked in a stable?
And another in the series I remember had something to do with a fortune teller who died. One time she went to the house of the said fortune teller and someone came and claimed to be the fortune teller's twin? It was quite scary though it was for younger audience.
I'm not exactly sure what the series is called but please help if you have any idea.

Sarah | 33 comments How about The Beekeeper's Apprentice by Laurie R. King? It is on my to-read list, so I don't know if it matches exactly. It was published in 1994, and there are now 10 books in the series.

No but that's probably the closest out of all the suggestions. Thanks.
