What are your thoughts about House of Leaves?

I haven't read House of Leaves since I was in high school but I used to absolutely adore that book.

I really liked it. I thought it was unlike most books and I liked how it kept the story simple in my opinion. It never said the house was haunted or on Indian graves... etc. It was never that far fetching... beyond the physical structure of the house, and who doesn't love Johnny Truant?
