What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I'm looking for this book I read as a kid, back in the late 70's, early 80's.

I believe the main character is a girl who goes to live in a new town or is on vacation. She makes a friend and they start using this abandoned theatre to perform the ballet Swan Lake. There's a "poltergeist" too.

I've been Googling and racking my brains for the title of this book.

The Ghost in the Third Row possibly?

There are a couple of books in this series, and while I don't remember if they did Swan Lake or no, this is set in a theatre and it has a ghost in it. And I THINK it was published about the time period you are talking aboutl

It does sound similar, but these kids aren't trying out cause they're just playing in an abandoned theatre. They find old costumes for Swan Lake and decide to do the show for fun. There's a "poltergeist" who leaves them snacks and supplies and what not. They see smoke from up in the balcony, if I'm remembering correctly.

I finally found it! It's called The Mystery of Swan Ballet, published in 1965.
