Kevin | 4 comments Apologies if this has been covered somewhere already.

Khaled Al Khamissi's page (http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...) is written in Arabic, the author's primary language. Should this page be written in English to match most of the site, or left in Arabic as it is? If it should be left as is, does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it more useful to people who don't read Arabic?

Melody (runningtune) | 13300 comments He had an English author profile too. As a work around until a permanent solution you can list both translations of his name on each of his books - making sure they are always listed in the same order so you can combine editions. Then you can add information in English to his English profile.

But to answer the more general question, if an author's works are solely in Arabic (or French, or Swahili), it seems reasonable that their profile might be as well. Probably nice to have the bio listed in English in addition to the native tongue, though.

Oh, and all dates (birth, death, etc.) MUST be in the Gregorian calendar.
